The Gator Hole Country Store (Gator Hole) is a family owned convenience store on Route 133 (River Road) between Leland and South Port, North Carolina and is a quarter of a mile away from Brunswick Nature Park. It is owned by Dan Webb. Dan's mission with the Gator Hole is to serve the communities of Winnabow, Leland, Navassa, Oak Island, South Port, and Belville by providing cold drinks, tasty snacks and an unforgettable Pontoon Boat tour down Town Creek.
YES YOU CAN FISH HERE! The Gator Hole welcomes fishing off of the floating dock and shore on the edge of the Town Creek. The store is situated less than a mile from Brunswick Nature Park going west and the same distance going east to the Cape Fear River. Come and enjoy the nature, wildlife, and experience the joy from fishing in the brackish waters of Town Creek that are both inspiring and contagious. Although the Gator Hole does not charge to use the property to fish from, we'll gladly accept donations so we can continue to expand the offerings of the Gator Hole Country Store!
KAYAKERS AND BOATERS! Dan encourages folks to get out on the water and see firsthand the animals -- osprey, ducks, snakes, alligators, and even the bald eagle that occasionally flies overhead. The store is only a quarter mile drive in a car from the Brunswick Nature Park and just a short kayak trip! If you want to push off from the Gator Hole, please leave a simple float plan for us with your phone number.
